The 2019 QInfrarch technical carnival in Suzhou gathered nearly 160 engineers from Qunar and partner companies to share in‑depth sessions on private cloud databases, real‑time hotel computation, AI‑driven ticket customer service, and OceanBase architecture, concluding with networking, tea breaks, and a lucky‑draw for attendees.
On June 21, 2019, Qunar's fifth Technology Carnival (QInfrarch) was held at the Viya Building in Suzhou, attracting close to 160 technical professionals from Qunar, New Oriental AI Research Institute, and other firms.
The event featured opening remarks by Qunar CTO He Weiping and Destination Business Unit CTO Zhang Yu, emphasizing the importance of learning from history and fostering innovation.
Five speakers delivered technical sessions:
1. Xie Chao – "Qunar Database Private Cloud Platform" covered the evolution of high‑availability database architecture, an overview of Qunar's private cloud platform, efficient operations, and future outlook.
2. Su Yisong – "Qunar Hotel Real‑time Computing Practice" introduced the hotel business scale, challenges, detailed pricing system, and summarized key takeaways.
3. Qiu Wenming – "Qunar Ticket Intelligent Customer Service System" presented background, overall system architecture, knowledge‑base construction, and task‑oriented dialogue management.
4. Yang Zhifeng (Ant Financial) – "OceanBase Architecture Principles and Practice" discussed the history of OceanBase, its architecture, and comparisons with other database systems.
5. Wang Mingyou – "Qunar Hotel Main‑process Performance Optimization" described background, backend performance optimization practices, methods and techniques, and reflections.
The conference also offered a tea break and a lucky‑draw, awarding ten audience members with prizes, and concluded with gratitude to all participants and a promise to reconvene next year.
