Meitu Technology Salon: Golang Application Practice

The Meitu Internet Technology Salon is an offline technical exchange series hosted by Meitu Company. Each session invites technical experts from both inside and outside Meitu to share insights on trending technical topics, aiming to create a high-quality technical exchange circle for intermediate to senior technical professionals.

This second session focuses on "Golang Application Practice," featuring three practical topics exploring Golang's application in online systems.

Topic 1: "Golang Application Practice at Meitu" - Meitu began adopting Golang in mid-2015 for building high-performance and highly available online systems. The team has developed related basic components and supporting facilities, accumulating practical experience through various challenges over the past year.

Topic 2: "Panda TV Technical Architecture Evolution and Golang Practice Path" - Panda TV's initial architecture met rapid business development needs. As business grew and considering the high-performance and concurrency requirements of live streaming platforms, the team rebuilt most core business using a new Golang-based architecture system, accumulating a set of Golang basic libraries and tool usage experience.

Topic 3: "NetEase P2P Cache System Evolution Based on Golang" - The P2P cache system, as NetEase's core system, was redesigned and developed using Golang to meet rapid business growth. By introducing distributed design concepts and combining microservices and AOP design, the team successfully transformed the P2P cache system using Golang.

The salon schedule includes registration (13:00-13:30), three technical sessions with breaks and discussion times, and concludes with a lucky draw. The event is scheduled for July 24, 2016, from 13:00 to 18:00 at Meitu's office in Xiamen, targeting enterprise intermediate to senior R&D engineers and architects (planned for 100 participants).
