Meitu Cloud Live Streaming Media Service Architecture and Optimization Practices
Meitu Live’s hybrid‑cloud architecture combines a proprietary push‑stream SDK, custom source servers, and an in‑house player with big‑data‑driven quality monitoring, multi‑CDN integration, and public‑cloud nodes, enabling over 100,000 daily sessions while sharing practical optimization lessons and system‑building insights.
Meitu Live, a typical mobile live‑streaming product, has been online since early 2016 and now hosts more than 100,000 live sessions per day. During its rapid growth, Meitu has been building a hybrid‑cloud live streaming system that fits its product characteristics.
Meitu has independently developed a push‑stream SDK, live source servers, and a player. It has also established a quality monitoring and optimization system driven by big data, integrating multiple CDNs and public‑cloud source nodes to create a more controllable streaming ecosystem.
This presentation will focus on the construction of the source servers, sharing practical optimization experiences and lessons learned in building this system, with the aim of fostering discussion and knowledge exchange.
