Intelligent Commerce 2.0: AI‑Driven Innovations Presented by Alibaba at ACM SIGAI Forum
At the ACM China Turing SIGAI Forum, Alibaba’s CTO Zheng Bo unveiled “Intelligent Commerce 2.0,” a knowledge‑driven AI era that shifts commerce from statistical data to causal decision‑making, leveraging generative large‑model, multimodal and AI Serving4LM technologies for B2B/B2C marketing, analytics, risk control, asset management, and is supported by the Peking‑University‑Alibaba PAAI lab’s research on graph models, decision intelligence and AI‑generated music.
At the ACM China Turing SIGAI Forum (July 29, Wuhan), Alibaba’s Mama and Xianyu CTO Zheng Bo announced “Intelligent Commerce 2.0”, a knowledge‑driven, reasoning and creative AI era.
He said the shift moves from data‑statistic digital commerce to AI‑based decision execution and causal inference.
Alibaba’s tech team applies generative AI large models, multimodal engines and the AI Serving4LM platform to B2B/B2C, enabling AI‑generated marketing creatives, intelligent agents, enhanced analytics, risk control and large‑scale asset management.
The joint Peking‑University‑Alibaba “PAAI” lab, launched Sep 2022, focuses on large‑scale graph models, decision intelligence and AI music generation, already producing top‑conference papers, patents and prototype products.
