How Minsheng Bank Reached Leading DevOps Maturity via System & Tool Standards
In a July 2023 interview, Minsheng Bank’s technology leaders discuss how their Software Engineering Support Platform, built on DevOps and DevSecOps principles, earned top-level assessments from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, boosting delivery quality, speed, and the bank’s overall digital transformation.
Domestic and international large enterprises have shown that standardization and tool empowerment are key to success. The DevOps standards and the DevOps continuous delivery pipeline platform can significantly improve quality and efficiency, enhancing safety, agility, and market competitiveness.
On July 18, 2023, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) hosted the “2023 XOps Industry Innovation Development Forum” in Beijing, themed “Quality‑Efficiency Integration…”. The forum announced the latest batch of DevOps/AIOps standards assessment results.
Minsheng Bank participated with its “Software Engineering Support Platform” (PSET) and achieved an “Excellent” rating in the CAICT “R&D‑Operations Integration (DevOps) Capability Maturity Model – System and Tool Standards [Pipeline]” assessment, indicating a leading domestic level.
To date, Minsheng Bank has passed three CAICT DevOps standard assessments: one for System and Tool Standards, one for Continuous Delivery Standards, and one for Technical Operations Standards.
