Creating a High-Quality Live Map for Intelligent Driving

On a recent occasion, the fifth session of the 2023 "Mapping Technology Forum" on the theme of "High‑Quality Dynamic Maps and Intelligent Driving" was held successfully. During the event, Xiang Zhe, General Manager of the A‑Driverless Map Business Center at Amap (Gaode), delivered a report titled "Creating a High‑Quality ‘Live’ Map".

Speaker Biography: Xiang Zhe is the General Manager of the A‑Driverless Map Business Center, responsible for map data services, products, and technologies related to intelligent driving. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tsinghua University, previously worked at Microsoft Research Asia and IBM China Research Center, and joined Amap in 2014. He holds more than 30 invention patents, has published over 10 papers in top international journals and conferences, and has extensive experience in map production and internet services. He has led the development of the SD map production platform, high‑precision map collection and production platform, achieving an internationally leading automated map production system that delivers high‑quality, high‑freshness map data.
