In 2022, iQIYI's AI-powered dubbing system (IQDubbing) won the "First Prize for Technological Progress" at the CCF Technology Achievement Awards. This system addresses key challenges in automated film and TV dubbing, including voice conversion, voiceprint recognition, facial recognition, audio separation, and noise reduction. It has significantly reduced production costs and industrialized film production processes.
The technology, based on deep learning models, enables cross-language and cross-style dubbing scenarios. iQIYI has applied for 21 patents and 6 software copyrights related to this system, achieving 1/6 the production time of traditional human dubbing.
